Como ente ejecutor de la Política Educativa Costarricense pretende cumplir el precepto constitucional del derecho a la educación de todos los habitantes de cada uno de los circuitos educativos de la Dirección Regional de Enseñanza de San José Oeste, ofreciendo a los estudiantes procesos de intermediación pedagógica contextualizados; garantizando la pertinencia, la cobertura y la calidad, propiciando la formación integral de la persona y la sociedad, desarrollando la ciencia y la tecnología en un ambiente globalizado y sostenible.
VISIÓN CIRCUITAL
Ofrecer a la población de la Región Educativa de San José Oeste un óptimo accionar de los servicios educativos para el logro de la calidad, de manera que responda a los intereses y necesidades de las personas en todos los niveles y modalidades del Sistema Educativo Costarricense, promoviendo un ambiente democrático y de oportunidades, para lograr eficiencia en aras del desarrollo de la región promoviendo una mejor calidad de vida y un ser humano capaz de enfrentar con éxito los retos del futuro.
